TerrariumTV is an Android app that allows you to watch, download and cast movies and TV shows. The app gets its links from different websites, just like some popular Kodi addons. It supports subtitles, has a favorites list and it’s very easy to use. In this tutorial we are going to show you how to install TerrariumTV on your Android device.
Since TerrariumTV is just a link aggregator you’ll need MX Player to play the links on your device and LocalCast, AllCast or BubbleUPnP if you want to play them on Chromecast or on another device. You can install them using the Google Play store.
if you haven’t already, go to TerrariumTV’s website and download the apk. Let’s begin by setting our Android device to allow installations from unknown sources.
TerrariumTV is now installed and configured, remember that you need a video player like MX Player or you won’t be able to play the links.
TerrariumTV has a bookmark feature to easily access your favorite movies and shows, use the star icon on the top-right corner of the screen to bookmark an item. To view your favorites click on the menu icon on the top-left corner and select Bookmarks.
Casting videos with subtitles is a bit tricky, you’ll need to play a few seconds of the video on your device first to get the subtitles file, once the subtitles are downloaded you can reopen the link using your preferred casting app to play the video link and subtitles file on your Chromecast. Remember to configure your casting app to use TerrariumTV’s subtitles folder to make it easier to find the downloaded subtitles file.
