Specto is an addon packed with useful features including library integration. By enabling library integration, Specto will subscribe to the shows in your library and it’ll periodically check for new episodes. It’s a great way to keep your favorite movies and TV shows organized on Kodi.  In this tutorial we are going to integrate Specto with Kodi’s library using Estuary skin.

Before we begin you need to install Specto, read our guide on how to install Specto with Estuary and come back when you are ready.

 

1. Highlight the Add-ons tab on the Home Screen and select SpectoSpecto on Kodi with Estuary
2. Click on Toolskodi specto tools on estuary skin
3. Scroll down and select Specto: Libraryspecto library tools on kodi estuary
4. Open the Context Menu on Specto: TV folder and select Set Content. (To open the context menu use the C key on your keyboard, long-press or right-click). set content for specto tv folder on kodi krypton with estuary skin
5. Set the content’s the folder to TV Shows and press OK to confirm. kodi specto library integration
6. Press Yes to refresh the folder information.specto kodi library integration with estuary skin
7. Let’s add some items to the library. Go back to Specto’s main menu and select TV ShowsSpecto on Kodi 17 Krypton with Estuary skin
8. Then Most Popularmost popular tv shows category on specto for kodi krypton with estuary
9. Open the Context Menu on the show you want to add and select Add to libraryadd tv show to library using specto kodi estuary krypton
10. Go back to the Home Screen and higlight the TV shows tab to see an overview of your library.   tv shows section on kodi estuary home screen

 

Repeat the process to enable the movies section. If you can’t see your added items on the Home Screen try restarting Kodi. Now Specto will periodically check for new episodes and update the library. Specto also features video downloading and automatic subtitles, check out addon’s the settings to enable those features.

    Hi

    How can I change the Specto library folder to an external HDD? In the Jarvis version I was able to browse to other folders outside .kodi/userdata. However, in the krypton version I don’t seem to be able to.

      Hi, go to your library and highlight the item you want to remove, open the Context Menu and select Manage.. > Remove from library.

    can this be done for a full folder ie most popular or people watching instead of single picking? thanks
