The Crew is a popular Kodi add-on that allows you to stream movies and TV shows using several file hosting websites, it provides a great selection of free and premium sources.
This add-on comes with lots of great features like dedicated sections for sports, kids, radio, comedy, live TV, and more. The Crew also supports premium services like Real Debrid, Premiumize, and All Debrid.
The Crew is not yet compatible with Kodi 19 Matrix. If you’re using The Crew as your main add-on we recommend waiting a bit before upgrading Kodi or installing one of the suggested add-ons at the end of this guide.
Important: There’s a new add-on from team-crew called The Boys, it has many of the features of The Crew and it’s compatible with Kodi 19. Please note that you will need a Debrid account to use this add-on. Read How to install The Boys on Kodi for more information.
In this guide, we’re going to install The Crew on Kodi 18.9 Leia. Let’s begin!

If this is the first time you install add-ons on Kodi, you’ll have to allow the installation of unofficial add-ons. Please read How to allow 3rd-party add-ons on Kodi and come back here when you’re ready.
Adding The Crew source to Kodi
Let’s add a link to the official The Crew source on GitHub, this will allow us to download the repository zip file directly from Kodi.
1. Press the cog icon near the top left corner of the screen to open the Settings menu.
2. Select File Manager.
3. Press Add Source.
4. Enter https://team-crew.github.io/ in the top box and the-crew on the bottom one. Press OK to add the source.

The repository is responsible for installing the add-on and updating it when there’s a new version. Let’s use the new source to download and install the repository.
5. Go back to the Settings menu and this time select Add-ons.
6. Click on Install from zip file.
7. Select the-crew.
8. Click on repository.thecrew-x.x.x.zip to download and install the repository.

[Optional] Using Real Debrid with The Crew
File hosters often limit file availability and bandwidth for free users. Using premium accounts gives you unrestricted access to several file hosters and can greatly improve the quality and quantity of available sources.
In this example we’ll use Real Rebrid, a popular service to get unrestricted access to various file hosters and cached torrents for a very low price.
I. Select Tools on The Crew’s main menu.
II. Press RESOLVEURL: SETTINGS.
III. Select the Universal Resolver tab, scroll down to Real Debrid section and press (Re)Authorize My Account.
IV. Copy the authorization code.
V. Use a web browser to visit https://real-debrid.com/device and enter the authorization code. (You must be logged in to your Real Debrid account).
VI. Set a name for this connection, we’ll use the-crew and press Set that name.
Once ResolveURL is authorized with Real Debrid you can close the browser and go back to Kodi. All the add-ons using ResolveURL as dependency will have access to premium sources.
VII. Use The Crew to select a movie or show, premium links will be shown in pink, cached torrents in purple and free sources in white.
The Crew uses cached torrents, this means that your device won’t connect directly to the p2p network, instead, it’ll use Real Debrid’s servers to fetch the files so you can stream them as a normal download.
The Crew Kodi addon FAQ
No. The Crew can use both free and premium sources. Keep in mind that you won’t find many high definition videos when using free sources.
Yes. Debrid providers use their servers to download and store torrents so your IP address is never exposed to the P2P network. Cached torrents are only available with a Debrid account.
Free sources usually use HTTPS to encrypt traffic and are mostly safe. That being said, depending on your geographic location, you might feel safer using a VPN when using free sources to protect your privacy.
Debrid users, on the other hand, don’t need to use a VPN. All the data between your device and the Debrid server is encrypted.

I installed Fuck Indigo to disable Indigo which allowed me to install The Crew. When I clicked on The Crew, I got an error message telling me to “check the log for more information.” I don’t know what “the log” is, how to find and check it, or what to do once I find it. Suggestions please.
Crew Add-on was working fine although the only stream that works is the cartoonhd provider now yesterday movies won’t open as it’s not there when doing search of available providers.I have cleared cache but this does nothing..The providers list when looking for streams shows cartoonhd when doing the search but when the final list comes up it’s not there so I’m unable to get movie to play .In tools in the list of all the providers cartoohd is there switched on . What’s wrong I need this provider to watch movies.
Does this work for NFL Football games as well?
