Specto is a video addon for Kodi that streams movies and TV shows using several websites as source. Based on Genesis and developed by Mrknow, Specto comes with all the great features from its predecessor. It features library integration, Trakt.tv support, video downloading and automatic subtitles.
Fantastic: a clone of Covenant with all the same features.
Elysium: forked from Exodus with very nice features.
Death Streams: official fork of SALTS (Stream All The Sources).
Bubbles: addon with lots of features, optimized for premium accounts.
Not Sure: movies, tv shows, live sports, anime and more.
Quasar: if you can use torrents you should check out this addon.
In this tutorial we are going to install Specto on Kodi 17 and up using Estuary skin.
You are ready to use Specto on Kodi, you can stream movies and TV shows with it and use the Favorites sections in My Specto to save your favorite shows and movies.
You can integrate Specto with Kodi’s library, this will allow Specto to periodically check for new episodes of the TV shows in your library and display them on the home screen. Please read our guide Specto Library Integration on Kodi.
If you want to link Specto with your Trakt.tv account and keep all your devices synchronized read our guide How to use Trakt with Specto and Kodi.
We recommend using only one these methods, using Trakt and library integration at the same time requires extra maintenance and the official Trakt addon to keep the library and the collection synchronized across all your devices.
To use subtitles with Specto please read How to enable automatic subtitles on Kodi.
