Exodus was once one of the most popular Kodi add-ons but it was discontinued a couple of years ago. Since then, the original Exodus has been forked by many developers to create new add-ons and some of them are currently very popular. Let’s talk about two specific exodus-based add-ons, Exodus Redux and Exodus V8.
IMPORTANT: Exodus Redux and Exodus V8 are deprecated and not compatible with the new Kodi 19 Matrix. Please use one of the recommended add-ons.
Exodus V8 or Exodus Redux. Which one to choose?

[Optional] Using Real Debrid with Exodus V8 and Exodus Redux
File hosters often limit file availability and bandwidth for free users. Using premium accounts gives you unrestricted access to several file hosters and can greatly improve the speed, quantity and quality of available sources.
In this example we’ll use Real Debrid, a popular service to get access to various file hosters and cached torrents for a very low price.
Follow these steps to set up Real Debrid with Exodus Redux and Exodus V8.
I. Open Exodus and select Tools.
II. Scroll down and select ResolveURL Settings on Exodus Redux or URLResolver Settings on Exodus V8.
III. Select the Universal Resolvers tab, scroll down to the Real-Debrid section and press (Re)Authorize my account.
IV. Copy the authorization code.
V. Visit https://real-debrid.com/device and enter the authorization code. (You must be logged in to your Real Debrid account.)
VI. Set a name for this connection, we’ll write Exodus.
Now that you’ve authorized Exodus with Real Debrid you can close the browser and go back to Kodi.
VII. Premium links are shown in blue and cached-torrent links are shown in green when selecting sources with Exodus Redux or Exodus V8.
When using Real Debrid, torrents are downloaded using their servers and transferred to your device as a normal download, this means you’re connecting directly to Real Debrid servers and not to a P2P network.
[Optional] Using Trakt with Exodus
Trakt.tv is a free service that lets you keep track of your favorite shows and movies, you can build your collection or create lists and get suggestions based on your tastes. Please read How to use Trakt with Exodus for more information.

I have Exodus (exodus.vpn as it’s now called) working fine in V19 matrix. I already had it installed before upgrading kodi to v19 and despite a million notifications telling me that most of my add-ons would no longer work, all I actually needed to do was re-enable exodus in the add-ons list and it works fine.
I would however prefer to replace it with eodus redux because kodibae is NOT a trustworthy kodi developer – he simply picks up addons that are no longer updated by the people who wrote them and adopts them as his own. What’s wrong with that? Where do I start? He adds a bunch of un-necessary crap as dependencies within the plugin so you are forced to install a whole bunch of stuff you neither want or need just to get the plugin to work. The worst of these is the Indigo “tool” from tvaddons, which periodically interrupts you with an intrusive notification pop-up. There is an option within Indigo to opt-out but selecting it actually makes the message appear more often!
You should avoid kodibae and tvaddons if at all possible
