Fen Kodi Add-on

Fen is a Kodi add-on that allows you to stream movies and TV shows from premium sources, it specializes in services like EasyNews and Furk but it also works with Debrid sources.

IMPORTANT: Fen and its repository are no longer available. We recommend you to try Ezra, a new addon based on Fen. Check out the list of our favorite add-ons for more alternatives to Fen.

This add-on is designed for advanced Kodi users and it has many interesting features like its own customizable favorites list, a discover section to create lists using filters, a context menu with many useful options, Trakt.tv support, and more. Fen is also very fast when browsing through menus and scraping sources.

Easynews, Furk, and Debrid are very different services but they all offer access to files on the cloud in their own way. Check out the FAQ at the end of this guide for more information.

Fen is compatible with Kodi 19 Matrix and Kodi 18 Leia.

In this guide, we’re going to install Fen on Kodi. We’ll also set up Real Debrid with FenomScrapers. Let’s get started!

If this is the first time you install add-ons on Kodi, you’ll have to allow the installation of unofficial add-ons. Please read How to allow 3rd-party add-ons on Kodi and come back here when you’re ready.

1. Downloading the repository zip file

First, let’s download the repository zip file from its official source on Tikipeter’s Github page.

Alternatively, you can use this link to download the repository zip file.

2. Installing Tikipeter’s Repository

The repository is responsible for installing Fen and updating it as new versions become available. Let’s use the file we’ve just downloaded to install the repo on Kodi.

We installed Fen on Kodi but we still need to set a premium account to work properly.

Fen works natively with Easynews and Furk accounts and it uses an external module called FenomScrapers to work with Debrid accounts.

4. Using Real Debrid with Fen

File hosters often restrict the availability and bandwidth for free users. Debrid services like Real Debrid, All Debrid, and Premiumize offer unrestricted access to file hosters and cached torrents.

When using cached torrents your device will not connect directly to the p2p network. Instead, Real Debrid will fetch the file for you and allow you to get it as an encrypted download.

In this example we’ll use Real Rebrid, a popular service to get access to cached torrents and various file hosters for a very low price.

13. Select Settings from Fen’s main menu.

14. Now press Settings: My Accounts.
open My Accounts settings using Fen

15. Select the Debrid Accounts tab and press Authorize under Real Debrid.

21. Select the Provider Accounts tab and press (Re)Sync Fen Settings with My Accounts.

All done! You’re now ready to use Fen. Navigate the main menu to select a movie or TV show. Once you made your choice, Fen will show you a list of available sources, pick one to start playing.

22. You will see a selectable list of available sources when playing a movie or episode.

If you want to use subtitles with Fen please read How to enable subtitles on Kodi.

Since you already installed Tikipeter’s repository, we strongly recommend you install Thumbnail Cache Cleaner. This add-on can free up space on your disk by erasing old images of movies and shows that are stored over time. You’ll find Thumbnail Cache Cleaner on Tikipeter’s repo under Program Add-ons.

6. Fen Kodi addon FAQ

Do I need an Easynews, Furk, or Debrid account to use Fen?

Yes, Fen only works with premium accounts.

What is Easynews?

Usenet is a distributed network of newsgroups where users can post messages and files. These newsgroups are stored and mirrored across many servers around the world. Usenet provides a very fast download speed over a decentralized SSL encrypted network.
Easynews is a Usenet provider, it offers different plans to access Usenet and a zero-log VPN to protect your privacy.

What is Furk?

Furk is a personal secure storage service that fetches media files and lets you stream them immediately. It offers many plans to access its cloud servers. You can use it to stream videos or listen to your music from your devices.

What’s a Debrid service?

File hoster websites often restrict the availability and bandwidth for free users. Debrid services like Real Debrid, All Debrid, and Premiumize offer unrestricted access to file hosters and cached torrents.

Are cached torrents safe?

Yes. Debrid providers use their servers to fetch the torrent so your IP address is never exposed to the P2P network. All data between your device and the Debrid provider is encrypted by HTTPS.

For TV shows, I used to go to TV shows, my list but now I get errors. I have to go to TV shows then trakt collections. Why is this?

    Thanks

Fen is has been my go to app for a long time
Now I just fed up with it because it is down more than it’s up
The silly dev will not leave the darn thing alone and he now has decided to block most people from using it with this 3rd party bs . The process doesn’t work per these instructions because he left off 2 steps .
So I started using something else and found I get better results using other apps and went back and watched stuff Fen couldn’t find.
No use trying Venom because they both use the same scraper which results in low results because the Femon scraper isn’t allowing . If I have to fight these addons every other day to get them to work than it too much hassle . I hope they figure it out because Fen use to be BEST now it is more of a headache
