Fen is a popular Kodi add-on that allows you to stream movies and TV shows from your own collection stored on your local folders or in cloud services such as Furk or Easynews.
This add-on is very fast when browsing through menus and scraping sources. It has many interesting features like its own favorites list, customizable menus, extra information screens for movies and shows, a context menu with many useful options, cloud storage management, Trakt.tv support, and more.
If you install an external package manager such as CocoScrapers, you can extend Fen’s capabilities and play videos from premium sources on services like Real Debrid, Premiumize or All Debrid. CocoScrapers is also used by Umbrella, another great add-on for Kodi.
In this guide, we’re going to install Fen on Kodi. Let’s get started!

4. Enter https://tikipeter.github.io/ in the top box, and tiki on the bottom one. Press OK to add the source.

14. Go back to the Home Screen and select the Add-ons tab. Click on Fen to open the add-on.
We’ve installed Fen on Kodi, but we still need to set an external scraper package and a Debrid account.
3. Installing CocoScrapers
By default, Fen can find sources on local folders, Furk and Easynews.
If you want to find premium sources on other services such as Real Debrid, Premiumize or All Debrid, you must install an external scraper package called CocoScrapers.
Please read How to install CocoScrapers on Kodi and come back here after you’ve installed the CocoScrapers external package.
3.1. Enable CocoScrapers on Fen
Now that CocoScrapers is installed, let’s configure Fen to use the external package.

2. Press SETTINGS: Fen.
3. Select the Provider Accounts tab and enable External Scrapers.

4. Using Real Debrid with Fen
CocoScrapers requires a premium account from Real Debrid, Premiumize or All Debrid. These services grant you access to file hosting websites, cached torrents, Usenet files and/or cloud storage.
In this example, we’ll use Real Debrid. A popular service to get access to cached torrents and various file hosting websites for a very low price.
When using cached torrents, your device will not connect directly to the p2p network. Instead, Real Debrid will fetch the files on their servers and make them available for you to download via HTTPS.
1. Open Fen and select Tools.
2. Select TOOLS: Account Manager.
3. Press on AUTHORIZE: Real Debrid.
4. Click Yes.
5. Copy the authorization code.
6. Use a web browser to visit https://real-debrid.com/device and enter the authorization code. (You must be logged in to your Real Debrid account).
7. Type Fen and press Set that name.
8. Back in Kodi, you’ll see a success message. Press OK to continue.
Press the Back key a couple of times to go back to Fen’s main menu.
All done! You’re now ready to use Fen. Use the add-on’s main menu to select a movie or episode, Fen will show you a list of available sources.
9. Select a source to start playing the video.
Hint: Press the left button on your remote to access the source filtering menu on the source select screen.
You can access files on your Real Debrid cloud storage. Go to Fen’s main menu, select My Services → Real Debrid → Cloud Storage.
Fen features subtitle downloads, but if you need more control over the subtitles’ selection process, please read How to enable subtitles on Kodi.
5. Additional Settings
Let’s take a look at some popular features on Fen. These steps are optional, but they can improve your user experience.
5.1. Using Trakt with Fen
Trakt.tv is a free service that helps you organize and keep track of your favorite movies and shows. Using a Trakt account is optional, but it is very helpful if you want to sync your watched status across devices.
Fen can integrate with your Trakt account, giving you access to your Collection, lists, and bookmarks.
To use Trakt with fen, visit the Trakt.tv website, log in with your account, and follow these steps.
1. Open Fen and select Tools.
2. Press TOOLS: Account Manager.
3. Select AUTHORIZE: Trakt.
4. Press Yes.
5. Copy the authorization code.
6. Using a web browser, visit https://trakt.tv/activate and enter the authorization code. (You must be logged into your Trakt account)
7. Press Yes to authorize Fen with Trakt.
Back in Kodi, you’ll see a success notification. You can now use your Trakt account with Fen.
Tip: Go to My Lists on the add-on’s main menu to access your collection, watchlist, and custom lists. Other Trakt options such as In Progress, Watched, and Next Episodes are available inside the Movies and TV Shows categories.
5.2. Auto-play content
By default, Fen displays a selectable list of sources before playing a video. We can override this behavior and have the add-on select a source automatically.
1. Open Fen’s settings and select the Playback tab. Enable Auto Play under the Movies and/or Episodes sections. Adjust the settings according to your preferences.
Tip 1: Make sure you enable Auto Play Next Episode to continuously play episodes.
Tip 2: Go to the Results tab and use the Sorting and Filtering settings to prioritize or exclude certain video formats like HEVC, HDR, Dolby Vision, AV1, CAM and 3D.
5.3. Auto Scrape Next Episode
Enable this setting for continuous episode playback with manual source selection between episodes.
This feature is different from Auto-play, where the source is automatically selected by the add-on using predefined filters.
Auto Scrape Next Episode will search for the next episode’s sources in the background while the current episode is still playing, and it’ll let you manually select a source for the next episode.
1. Open Fen’s settings and select the Playback tab. Enable Auto Scrape Next Episode.
A prompt will appear towards the end of the episode, asking if you would like to search for next episode’s sources.
Press Now to begin the scrape process and show the results as soon as possible.
Press Yes to begin the scrape process and show the results at the end of the episode.
Press No to cancel the scrape process and avoid unnecessary connections. This is the default option.
5.4 Helpful Tips
Fen is packed with many useful features, you can customize the menu to your liking, create shortcuts to your most used categories, add movies and shows to its favorites section, create your own lists using filters and many more.
There are just too many features to cover in one article, luckily, Fen comes with a helpful user manual that you should definitely read.

Look forward to your reply
As of 2 months ago, this does not work for FEN. all the guides are now wrong. the author is insane.
It actually works. Installing fen or umbrella is very awkward now thanks to cocoscrapers but it still works. In your case the problem exist between keyboard and chair.
No FEN in repository. Only CoCoScrapers
Coco scrapers module have been removed in the latest update? I don’t understand why it’s not showing on mine. It’s not working, please help!!
Fen addon keeps giving ‘no results’ WHEN A MOVIE SELECT. tried new install same thing
Hi, see if your debrid subscription is still active
Hiw to get sports on fen
Very good guide.
Thanks
Thanks for the guide. Fen feels very snappy on my Firestick 4K. Will it get slower if I install more addons?
Good news everybody! Fen is back!
Hello
Why doesn’t Fen work with trakt anymore?
For TV shows, I used to go to TV shows, my list but now I get errors. I have to go to TV shows then trakt collections. Why is this?
Thanks
Trent
Fen is has been my go to app for a long time
Now I just fed up with it because it is down more than it’s up
The silly dev will not leave the darn thing alone and he now has decided to block most people from using it with this 3rd party bs . The process doesn’t work per these instructions because he left off 2 steps .
So I started using something else and found I get better results using other apps and went back and watched stuff Fen couldn’t find.
No use trying Venom because they both use the same scraper which results in low results because the Femon scraper isn’t allowing . If I have to fight these addons every other day to get them to work than it too much hassle . I hope they figure it out because Fen use to be BEST now it is more of a headache
Fen not working today on my Android TV box. Works on PC OK. Any ideas?
